For the Spring season:

We divide first by grade into 4 categories:

  1. Nursery School (Pre-k and Kindergarten Leagues)
  2. Grade School (1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th grade Leagues)
  3. Junior High (7th-8th grade League)
  4. High School (9th-12th grade League)

The Nursery school leagues are each single-grade leagues to allow for more granular grouping of motor-skill development in those groups and are our two "Tee-Ball" leagues.

Our Grade school leagues each span two grades and are further defined based upon relative baseball skill. We have 3 skill divisions within each of the two-grade leagues (1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th, respectively).

  1. National League "Blue"
  2. National League "White"
  3. American League

These names have caused some confusion in the past, but are easy to explain. The names are holdovers from our smaller beginnings when we had just two divisions (National and American). When the more competative league grew larger, we split the division and named them using the high school colors. Since this was before our second Fishers high school was ever built, the Hamilton Southeastern High School primary and secondary colors were used to desinate our competative divisions, giving us National Blue and National White.

Junior High Baseball is a single combined league for 7th-8th graders. Though our school district does not have Junior-High level baseball programs, many players leave baseball to participate in other junior high sports. This results in a lower number of players in our baseball leagues and we consolidate our three skills divisions back into one to meet the enrollment. These are still in-house leagues competing against other FHSEYBL teams.

The High School league further consolidates to a single league for grades 9,10,11 and 12. At the high-school league level, we compete with other teams from outside of the community, in partnership with organizations like the Carmel Dad's Club youth baseball prorgam.

Please choose the League you are interested in from the Navigation Menu on the left.
