7 & 8 Year Old Travel Evaluations |
Evaluations for the 7U and 8U travel teams for 2010 will take place on Sunday, March 14th.
Site: HSE Auxiliary Gymnasium
Times:
7U 1-3 p.m.
8U 3-5 p.m.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to register.

Rec Player Evaluation Times |
It is VERY IMPORTANT that every player attend the designated evaluation session to help in the draft process. Evaluation scores will help to ensure a better playing experience for ALL, as the teams will be divided as fairly as possible based on evaluation scores. All players evaluated will be given a score relative to their age group which will be used for draft purposes only.
All Evaluations are at the Fishers High School Auxilliary Gym. Please enter at entrance FH19.
Sunday, February 28th
5th and 6th Grade
12:00 pm - Last names A-H
1:30 pm - Last names I-O
3:00 pm - Last names P-Z
7th thru 9th Grade
4:00 pm - Last names A-H
5:00 pm - Last names I-O

Saturday, March 6th

Note: any player absolutely unable to attend on their designated day or time period, may attend one of the other sessions. Please attend assigned sessions, if at all possible, to maintain even flow of players and shorten time commitments for all. Players who do not attend evaluations will automatically play in the American League, if applicable, and will be assigned to teams by blind draw. Please see Draft Rules on website for more information.
Players are generally evaluated on the following skills:
* Timed run
* Arm strength – measured by radar gun
* Fielding assessment, including ground balls, fly balls, throwing (strength and accuracy)
* Hitting assessment, including form and contact
(includes bunting for older age groups)

League Rules were updated in January of 2010. Print a new set today for the 2010 Rec Season. Go to Helpful Info, Forms and Documents, League Rules. All Age Rules #24 and 30 have changed. 1st-2nd Grade Rules #12 has changed. Draft Rules have changed. Fall Ball Rules have not changed but have been on the website for years. Check them out. |
