Fishers-HSE Youth Baseball will be electing new Board Members on September 9th. If you are interested in joining the Board please review the Election Slate to see what positions are open. If you have any questions or any interest in putting your name in call (317.408.8774) or e-mail (dmwhe8740@comcast.net) Dave Wheeler, our League Secretary. Plan on attending the Meeting on the 9th at Billericay in the Meeting Room at 7:00. Your interest in helping our League and our Community are greatly appreciated.
The Election slate is to be filled by Labor Day so please try to get your name in by then.

FALL BASEBALL CLINICS!
The SPORTS Fall Baseball program is offering FREE clinics to all registered players in its Fall Baseball league in grades 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6. The clinics are designed to teach baseball fundamentals in the areas of fielding, hitting, pitching, and base running. These clinics have always been a HUGE hit in the past, so mark your calendars now!
DATES FOR THE BASEBALL CLINICS AT BILLERICAY PARK:
8/21 @ 4:00 pm - Fielding
9/11 @ 4:00 pm - Hitting
9/25 @ 4:00 pm - Pitching / Base running (grades 1/2)

The following dates, times and locations have been set for travel baseball tryouts for the 2011 season:
Boys trying out for the 11U - 14U travel teams divided by high school should attend the tryout for the high school they are going to attend given their current home address, unless an exception has been granted by the travel director. Tryouts are FOR THE ENTIRE TIME PERIOD LISTED - this is not a window in which you can show up. These are comprehensive tryouts that will last the entire time.
Please do not wear attire with your name on it, as numbers will be assigned at tryouts.
Questions can be directed to Ed Woolwine - Travel Baseball Director.
Persons interested in coaching should complete and return the 2011 Travel Coaching Application Form.

The 2010 Season schedule has now been posted and is available here, and in the Helpful Info section of the website - under Forms and Documents, 2010 Season Schedule. The document can be opened in Microsoft Excel, and schedules are organized by various field sizes for each of the leagues.

League Rules were updated in January of 2010. Print a new set today for the 2010 Rec Season. Go to Helpful Info, Forms and Documents, League Rules. All Age Rules #24 and 30 have changed. 1st-2nd Grade Rules #12 has changed. Draft Rules have changed. Fall Ball Rules have not changed but have been on the website for years. Check them out. |
